The challenge:

* Support the transformation of ABI into a total beverage company as a part of the leadership team in Europe's #1 Specialties Company:.
* Brand stewardship of ABI's growth portfolio of strong blondes inclusive of Bosteels brands (Tripel Karmeliet, Kwak, Deus) and Victoria
* Setting long and short term brand strategies and objectives for strong blondes across the European Zone with a primary focus on the BNFL region
* Implementation of marketing initiatives with direct leadership of 3 person brand team including 1 dotted line brand lead at Bosteels alongside stewardship of full the cross-functional commercial team.
* Provide clear direction and optimization of resources to ensure delivery against long and short term brand objectives for strong blondes.

The position can be located in Leuven, Belgium or Lille, France.

What will you be doing:

* Lead with agility in a fast changing environment
* Consistently challenge the status quo to achieve greatness in meaningful consumer connections, brand creativity and commercial results
* Accountable for providing thought leadership and coordinating 3YP and 1YP brand plans
* Accountable for key annual brand strategies and delivery of marketing programs
* Accountable for engaging wider business and gaining commitment to plans
* Accountable for brand innovation strategy and pipeline
* Provide leadership in the creation and the day to day management of the plans which will help the brand achieve the desired objectives
* Regular attendance at Commercial & Sales Meetings leading key brand discussions
* Sharing best practice with global brand and European teams
* Managing multiple stakeholders and complexities in decision making
* Clear direction and leadership to team
* Responsible for development of the team, including personal development and longer term career plans
* Efficient allocation & spend of marketing budget for Strong Blondes portfolio to budget within timeframe defined

What you'll bring:

* Graduate or Post Graduate Level
* Extensive experience in Marketing teams, preferably in an FMCG environment with experience at a senior marketing level
* Proven experience to deliver outstanding results and clear demonstration of project management and strategic thinking
* Ability to demonstrate application of key marketing principles in a highly commercial environment eg. Brand Positioning
* Clear demonstration of thinking and acting as an owner exercising strong financial acumen and making sound strategic judgments
* Proven in-depth knowledge of our business or clear aptitude to understand it - with a comprehensive understanding of the customer, consumer, brand agenda
* Ability to lead cross functional initiatives and proven ability to persuade and influence to achieve outstanding results
* Proven experiences in simplifying processes, and in being focused and disciplined on behalf of self and direct reports
* Explicit demonstration of leadership and developments of the best people and teams through coaching, feedback and support
* Proven ability to influence at local, regional and global marketing & commercial levels
* Marketing & advertising development experience is a must.
