We are looking for amazing individuals who want to kick start their IT career working with
clients and resolving their computer hardware/Software issues. Come and join an apprentice
programme like no other. At Capgemini our expertly designed programme will take you from
GCSE level to a qualified desktop support engineer, including relevant technical certifications
This 18-month programme is unique, you will be working directly in a team of experienced
individuals with a strong community for support, drawing on their expertise and learning. You
will be working to design how we transform our client’s existing services and create brand new
services using cutting edge and emerging technologies with the client experience always in
mind.

About the Opportunity;
This is a customer focused placement in which you will be liaising with internal clients and problem solving to ensure a high level of service. This is a role you can start to build your technical skills and practice them daily. This role is pivotal in making sure that our end users can work efficiently and effectively. In addition to remote support, you will be gain insights in:
• Mobile solution support
• Software installs
• Building hardware
• PC Configuration
• Assisting with stores tasks
• Developing and implementing service improvements
• Creating and maintaining support documentation
• Working on the Tech Table or Virtual Tech Table assisting end users with
technical issues.
• Meeting room technology - Touchscreen TV`s, OWL meeting room devices and
Crestron Sound bars
• Basic networking
What we are looking for:
• 5 GCSE’s grade 4 or above
• We are looking for someone who is self-driven who is organized
• Wants to learn
• Good communication skills
• Wants to focus on technical skills but would also like to work with
clients

Additional Information
These roles require SC Security clearance. To meet the clearance requirements, you will need
to;
• Have the right to live and work in the UK
• Be resident in the UK for the past five years
• Have spent no more than 3 consecutive months outside the UK in that
period
If you cannot meet these criteria, we may not be able to consider you for this role.
