We are looking to recruit a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to deliver the full range of know-how and training services to support our corporate group.

Role

There is a role for an experienced Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) to join our Corporate team. This role can be based in either London or Guildford, and will be supporting the Corporate group across both offices.

Experience and Skills Required

The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction and will typically have four years' post qualification experience with a leading law firm with a strong reputation in the corporate practice area.

In addition, they will have:

•An understanding of private practice corporate law and transactions along with enthusiasm for the practice of corporate law, with an intellectually rigorous approach to difficult issues

•Prior PSL experience desirable, but not essential

•Professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm and proactively manage varied projects and priorities.

•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and strong presentation and training skills

•An interest in assisting the junior lawyers in the group to develop their legal skills

•An ability to work efficiently to produce well-written, practical materials.

•The ability to communicate legal concepts concisely and clearly.
