Senior Brand & Licensing Manager Consumer Products GSA (Maternity Cover)

Contract: Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting the budget and expanding the licensing business.
  • Investigate and execute new business opportunities, according to the retail and product strategy.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of licensees in close collaboration with the agent. Supporting and monitoring licensees to ensure that products are in line with product/retail strategies, brand direction and general network routes.
  • Develop and create marketing and product concepts in collaboration with the licensees.
  • Responsible for all retail and product promotional sales promotions as well as asset creation and delivery in cooperation with the internal stakeholders, external partners and agencies.
  • Enable and manage a strong internal network to work effectively across functions and departments to leverage on joint assets and opportunities.
  • Identify new program franchises including the managing of background rights check.
  • Oversee and approve all creative assets, in collaboration with the int. creative team, including concepts, packaging, product and marketing material.
  • Negotiate, coordinate amendments, renewals and new contracts in support of the int. legal department.
  • Analyse royalty reports and regularly liaise with licensees and the int. contracts manager to review commercial targets and marketing spend.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, agents, licensees for general brand and programme information, legal and finance updates and requirements.
  • Create compelling sales and pitch presentations.
  • Create quarterly status reports for SVP International Consumer Products and other GSA internal stakeholders.


Requirements

  • Broad experience in Licensing and Brand management as well as a solid knowledge in the retail industry
  • A good instinct for new market developments and consumer trends
  • Experience in liaising and leading multiple stakeholders, including agent, partners and agencies
  • Excellent organization, communication and project management skills
  • Independent, proactive, self-starter with ability to perform solution orientated work
  • Good assertiveness skills, high flexibility and resilience
  • E xcellent negotiating and presentation kills
  • Very good command of written and spoken German and English
