Credit Control Team Leader

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader within our National Collections team.

 

You will play a key role in a dynamic and fast paced department as a valued member of the management team. The role requires you to be a flexible self-starter, with strong attention to detail and great communication skills. You will be working with all levels of management internally and customers externally, and a desire to provide excellent customer service is essential.

 

The primary responsibilities of the role will be organizing a team to ensure accurate debt records, timely collection of outstanding debt, and the training and development of team members.  The successful candidate would also be required to contribute and develop ideas to improve the performance of the department. You will work closely with our National Accounts and National Sales teams as well as numerous corporate departments including, but not limited to, Billing, Implementation, IT and regional administrative offices. 

 

Some key expectations of the role include building relationships with customers and key contacts, monitoring team performance and keeping management informed of any significant developments. As part of this role, you will also be visiting clients to support the goals of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Manage debt collection process
  • Providing updates and information to Management on team progress
  • Train and develop team members
  • Initiate and undertake projects to improve operations, as necessary
  • Work with Sales, Implementation, IT and others, as required
  • Build relationships with customers and key external contacts
  • Organize and attend regular client visits
