Your Key Responsibilities

As a Technology Consulting - Cyber Security Senior Manager, you will work alongside our clients' MDs and C level, to help them fully realise their vision. This will be done through a combination of business development & pre-sales activities and technical implementation activities.

You will split your focus between business development/pre-sales and security engineering/architecture and be responsible for guiding the client through their transformational journey.

In addition to your client facing role, you will work with a regional team of specialists and help drive the development of thought leadership, assets, accelerators and technology alliance driven material to support our clients' needs.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Business Development
  • Proactively connect with a broad range of stakeholders from across our client base, to discuss strategic business topics including risk and long-term value - who exhibits business acumen and build revenue growty
  • Provide a clear picture of current cyber risk posture and capabilities, helping organisations to understand how, where and why to invest in managing cyber risks
  • Articulate and position in a compelling manner, EY's technology/cyber portfolio of services in structured Fields of Play with account management and customer.
  • Experience in expanding client relationships by teaming across geographies and functional areas, and enhancing the presence and success of different EY service lines by introducing the relevant subject matter specialists to our clients
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop proposals that consider new pricing and delivery models; confidently negotiate fees and actively manage engagement economics, so that EY is fairly and competitively compensated for all work
  • Coach and mentor junior staff on cyber selling approaches and methodologies
  • Build awareness with internal stakeholders about our cyber security solutions and approaches to positioning them in the market
  • Experience developing and managing vendor alliances - including working alongside the vendors to build assets and pursue opportunities

Technical Skils
  • Experience helping clients achieve and sustain regulatory compliance requirements as the outcome of a well-designed and executed cyber function
  • Experience in helping to implement and execute a strategy and overarching cyber program that allows for rigorous, structured decision-making and a financial analysis of cyber risks
  • Experience in architecting and delivering security solutions across one or more of the following domains: Cyber Threat Management, Cloud, Identity & Access Management, Security Operations and Cyber Analytics. This experience should include both advisory, implementation and operation experience
  • Strong technical security skills in assessment, design, implementation, architecture, and program / project delivery and work across various delivery models, (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps)
  • Architecture & design lead experience in implementation of security technologies

To Qualify for the role, you must have
  • 12 years of Relevant experience. Preferably with 8 years' experience in a technology consulting role in a leading consultancy firm
  • A recognized university degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Experience in leading teams on projects
  • Strong influence skills with ability to close deals
  • Excellent communicator with strong analytical, interpersonal and writing skills
  • Willingness to travel on overseas assignment as the need arises
  • Familiar with at least one of the following:
  1. Identity and Access Management technologies e.g. SailPoint, Deep Identity, One Identity, Forge Rock
  2. Privileged Access Management technologies e.g. BeyondTrust, CyberArk
  3. Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platforms e.g. Phantom, Resilient, Cortex
  4. Cloud Technologies e.g. AWS, AZURE, GC
  5. Analytics: Extrahop, Vectra, SPLUNK
  6. Endpoint: Tanium

Ideally, you'll also have
  • Cyber related certification preferred (CISSP, SABSA, GIAC)
  • Project management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2)
