ServiceNow Consultant/Developer

EY is a ServiceNow Global Elite partner and being part of the EY Oceania Centre of Excellence team you will be exposed to a number of large complex client engagements where you will be responsible to transform an employee experience or assist with citizen self-service.

The opportunity

We have a dynamic vibrant team that need to consitantly innovate new ways of solving client challenges. In this role you will be responsible for giving guidance and expertise on client facing solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform. You will be business-issue focused as you work closely with clients to transform their ways of working. You will need to have a solid foundation of technical skills and solution architecture that you are able to leverage while working within a team of other Developers, Implementation Specialists, Product Managers and Architects to meet our client's requirements throughout the software development life cycle.

Your key responsibilities
  • Design, implementation, testing and deployment of scalable application solutions as part of our team
  • Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications or fixing and improving existing software
  • Understand client requirements and translate to this into workable solutions
  • Understand client objectives and provide continuity for architecture and roadmap exercises
  • Demonstrate product and technical leadership on ServiceNow engagements
Skills and attributes for success
  • Experience with business processes in at least one area of the enterprise such as HR, GRC(IRM), CSM, ITSM, ITOM, ITBM (experience in multiple areas is highly desirable)
  • Ability to build strong and credible relationships with business and technical stakeholders at each level
  • A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills with experience in Agile methodologies and understanding of popular coding languages (e.g. JavaScript) will set you apart.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Service Portal experience (HTML, CSS, Angular, Bootstrap, etc.) and ServiceNow Application Development using ServiceNow Studio
  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, SOAP/REST Web Services, LDAP, JDBC/ODBC
  • Quick learner and early adopter of new technology with the ability to self-manage and overcome objections in a presales and engagement delivery context
Ideally, you'll also have
  • Ability to define at an architectural and design level of detail, technical solutions aligned with client's business problems
  • Define scope and technical advisory services to assist in clients implementing a ServiceNow program of work
  • 1-2 years of ServiceNow consulting
