This two-year full-time program has start dates in January and June with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will;

About The Team

FIS EBT business provides administration and full transaction processing capabilities to majority of the State Government Agencies in United States to support EBT programs, like SNAP, TANF, WIC, and Child Care. The EBT Platform includes the EBT Transaction Platform, EBT Customer Service Platform for Cardholders, EBT Client Services Platform for its State Government clients.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working closely with the EBT Operations and Product teams to analyze data, draw patterns; provide data insights to drive efficiencies in the business. You will be providing inputs to design new processes, services and products that improve the overall value for the EBT end users.

  • Performs research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to manager or project leader.
  • Builds predictive models for machine learning
  • Builds distribution and statistical models for raw data
  • Performs statistical analyses, under supervision on complex projects, including; analytical methodologies, appropriate statistical sampling, statistical data interpretations, and reporting format and content.
  • Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner.
  • Identifies and implements best practices and suggests how to improve current practices.
  • Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/return on investment.
  • Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities.
  • Develops recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations.
  • Contributes to project dissemination efforts. This includes writing and reviewing content related to methodologies and results in drafts of reports, posters, and manuscripts as well as creating graphics and tables.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree from job discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - at a minimum Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Added Bonus If You Have
  • Experience analyzing raw data
  • Experience working with SQL preferred
  • Experience working with Data Visualization tools like Tableau preferred
