About the Team

The Global Ecommerce team is currently undergoing a geo-expansion plan to focus on future growth and revenues in new territories within EMEA.

As the Country Sales Manager (Germany) at FIS, you will manage the sales activities in the region for all Global eCommerce Solutions with responsibility for delivering the go-to-market sales strategy in line with the EMEA sales plan.

The Senior Sales Manager will report to the VP Business Development EMEA, and be part of a newly formed EMEA-wide team.

You will drive global growth for the world's leading payment provider, offering businesses an advanced, end-to-end eCommerce payment solution, powered by data from over 40 billion annual transactions. What you will be doing
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities and raising Worldpay's profile on a consistent basis. You will build on a portfolio of target clients and attract new clients.
  • Develop and forecast sales quota, projected sales volume and profits as well as analysing industry & market trends and results
  • Developing a sound sales pipeline of potential sales opportunities in the territory
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans for each opportunity
  • Participating in sales calls and meetings to determine appropriate resources or representation by other FIS departments to win and close the deal
  • Represent Worldpay FIS at key industry body and events, maintain a high profile with the German customer base
  • Maintaining awareness of market and industry trends
  • Developing the ability to cross-sell other FIS products
What you bring
  • A proven track record of sales leadership as well as new business solution selling, within the eCommerce/Merchant Solutions/Payments space
  • Experience in identifying and influencing key decision makers and stakeholders as well as strong people management skills
  • A high degree of flexibility in your approach and be independent to drive your performance to achieve stretching targets.
  • Outstanding communication skills and an abundance of passion and energy
  • Strong analytical skills and a methodological way of working
  • Maintaining professionalism and projecting a positive image of the company
  • Experience in interacting at senior level with various business partners across the organization
  • Fluent German and English - written and verbal language skills
  • This position will require some business travel.
