Cyber Security Analyst Senior

About the team:

The Sensor Tuning & Enrichment team is a specialized group of security analysts focused on rapidly improving enterprise level detection and protection from malicious activity. ST&E is responsible for uniform deployment of indicators of compromise, improved alert accuracy, and automation design to improve enterprise detection and response times. ST&E is also a critical liaison between engineering, operations, and incident response teams to help ensure holistic and effective security solution coverage throughout the enterprise.

What you will be doing:

As a member of Sensor Tuning & Enrichment, you will be part of a team with diverse responsibilities. You will be involved in developing automation to improve enterprise wide visibility, detection, and response for security events. You may be involved in assessing and improving threat intelligence distribution to enterprise solutions. You may be part of inter-disciplinary project teams tasked with improving the threat disposition of the enterprise by evaluating current security solutions and processes.

Main duties:
  • Create automated runbooks to provide consistent, rapid identification and enrichment of security events
  • Collaborate with peer teams for identification of visibility gaps and detection deficiencies in current security solutions
  • Integrate curated, high-fidelity threat intelligence into current solutions landscape


What you bring:
  • Bachelor'sDegree preferred, orequivalentcombination of education, training, andexperience
  • Python coding experience and/or training
  • Previous experience with security products such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, NGWFs, WAFs, etc.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and network traffic investigation
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security solutions and malware detection


Added bonus if you have:
  • REST API debugging experience
  • Knowledge of threat intelligence assessment
  • GCIH or similar incident handling experience or certification
  • Other industry standard security certifications
