Join the 2021 FIS University Summer Internship Program!

As a 2021 FIS University Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, social events, professional development seminars, and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 7, 2021, and conclude on August 13, 2021.

About the team

The Account Transfers team is paramount to the onboarding of new clients across our Wealth Outsourcing Platform - AddVantage. The team is exposed to different security processing areas, account activity monitoring, and regulatory/compliance issues. Members of the group are experts in terms of custody asset movement through ACATS, DTCC, and the NSCC. Within the team, you develop a keen understanding and knowledge of the financial service industry.

What you will be doing
  • Processing incoming or outgoing account requests, including DTC, DWAC, DRS, and Mutual Funds.
  • Taking proactive measures by calling contra-firms or mutual fund companies to complete the request.
  • Follow up for all open transfers through internal workflow providing consistent updates to the end client.
  • Other projects and duties may be assigned.
What you bring
  • Rising Senior (graduating December 2021 through May 2022)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
