About the team

The US Engineering Team works collaboratively to provide global solutions for Partners, Operations and Shared Merchant Services that supports organization's Integrated Payments line of business. The entire team works on creating various applications that supports in Merchant Acquisition, Boarding and Operations related to Billing and Partner Payments.

What you will be doing

As a part of global delivery team, candidate will work on projects where person plays an active role in developing software enhancements and new products for the Servicing platforms. Candidate will work on the planning, designing and coding of enhancements for our current offerings & will also work with cross-functional teams to build software solutions for current issues or to incorporate advancements in technology. Always searching to continuously improve Worldpay From FIS catalogue of products and services, we will create and maintain stable, reliable systems for our clients and partners. Candidate will work in regular 9 hours shift in five days working week. Following are their responsibilities-

SSE Responsibilities:
  • Should be able to work independently
  • Analyze user requirements
  • Create & document innovative, scalable, fault-tolerant software solutions for our product
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders and work collaboratively other developers
  • Debug, refine and rewrite code
  • Continuously learn and improve skills
  • Pays attention to detail and all tasks should be done with highest standard.

Additional for Tech Lead:
  • Technical excellence
  • Coaching and mentoring the team
  • Reviewing/approving code & ensuring coding best practices are followed
  • Estimation with maturity

What you bring:
  • Understanding on C#.Net, SOAP, REST, Web API, SQL Server, .Net framework, .Net Core
  • Strong background object-oriented design, modular system and component development
  • Good understanding of clean coding practices, SOLID design principles
  • Understanding and Experience with Unit Testing Framework and Concepts
  • Hands on Experience with LINQ, Json, XML
  • Experience with Source control, change tracking, version control tools (E.g., Git, TFS, Jira)

Soft/other Competencies
  • Excellent communicator - ability to discuss technical and solutions to customers and other stakeholders and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
  • Organized approach - manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
  • Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and team building skills and establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to deliver quality product

Added bonus if you have (Desirable skills):
  • Understanding of SAFe methodology
  • Familiarity with microservices, Nuget libraries, CI/CD pipeline, Azure services
  • Familiarity with Multi-Threading and Async framework
  • Knowledge of payment Industry
