Performance Test Engineer Senior

What you will be doing:
  • Review technical design and assets potential risks in regard to our software performance and stability.
  • Actively participating in SDLC process
  • Set-up test environment along with monitoring and load test platforms (company provided).
  • Review the results in respect to given requirements/SLA
  • Integrate tests in Jenkins
  • Platform tuning (i.e. Oracle SQL optimization, batch script optimization etc.)
  • Troubleshoot performance and stability issues on all involved components (OS, application server traces, Oracle AWR, application logs, etc.)
  • Work in large teams, reporting to delivery manager and work closely to other project stack holders like technical architects, business analyst, QA and DEV team members.
  • Support customer in their performance tests and questions about your competence area.
  • Participate in team initiatives like knowledge sharing, POC, tools enhancement.


What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • Experience in IT for minimum 4 years on independent and pro-active roles.
  • Confident in working in large organizations and deal with customers.
  • Knowledge and experience in areas of:
    • Java EE
    • Oracle - SQL tuning and administration
    • Good knowledge of Linux (eg: vmstat, top, iostat, iperf, etc.)
    • Apache Tomcat
    • JBOSS
  • Good understanding of performance tests.
  • A self-learner and hands-on attitudes.
  • Willing to join the team with knowledge sharing mindset.
