About the team

Worldpay by FIS is building a community of engineers to develop and then commoditise a catalogue of enterprise wide consumable products that can easily and repeatably be scaled and deployed across our global Merchant Cloud & Automation Services (MCAS) architecture. The products you develop will help drive our organisation towards our strategic principle 'Cloud First' and our successes will be measured through the continued adoption of our MCAS products and services. Operating within a collaborative SAFe environment, we aim to deliver effective solutions focussed on business value.

What you will be doing
  • Assists in daily coordination of various assigned projects.
  • Develops reports and produces materials required to support project plans including updates to project schedules, issue logging, recording and documenting meeting minutes for distribution to project team members.
  • Serves as a communication liaison between clients, project teams, and other FIS functional or department managers to understand all necessary aspects of projects and to ensure all are fully informed of objectives, purposes and progress.
  • Tracks project progress and assists in identifying and resolving obstacles.
  • Assists in ensuring projects remain on schedule and within time and cost constraints.
  • May work with others to identify and categorize project risks and issues related to cost/estimates, schedule, quality and employee retention.
  • Provides timely project or sub-plan deliverables that align with project or program plan structure and provides timely status updates to FIS and client management highlighting potential issues/problems.
  • Performs administrative tasks such as arranging meetings and/or conference calls, developing agendas, answering routine questions, preparing correspondence and progress reports and participating in event coordination.
  • Anticipates needs of project, program and PMO management and makes independent decisions and takes action to meet those needs.
  • Furnishes and obtains information from project management and representatives from clients or FIS organizations.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.


What you bring:
  • At-least 3-6 years of industry experience
  • Strong familiarity and adherence to core Agile values and principles
  • Strong experience as Scrum Master (SAFe experience preferred)
  • Expert with Agile and Scrum framework and its application in Product Development and delivery organization
  • Facilitate all scrum ceremonies effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to coach and mentor other team members on Agile values and principles.
  • Excellent communication skills with direct team members as well as external teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to efficiently collaborate with all stake holders and updating the wider group with the team's progress and dependencies.
  • Should have experience in executing story point estimation, backlog refinement sessions and capacity planning sessions.
  • Experience in tracking and reporting various Agile metrics.
  • Ability to work closely with product owner on backlog management.
  • Experience in looking on overall health of Scrum team within a train and taking proactive measures if any deviations from the plan.
  • Ability to train program / project level trainings on Agile/Scrum.
  • Experience of working with offshore and distributed teams.
  • Ensuring that all known impediments are cleared prior to the sprint beginning.
  • CSM [Certified Scrum Master]/ Any Agile Certifications is strongly preferred
  • Experience of stakeholder management and release management activities
  • Experience of JIRA + Confluence/Rally (Rally experience would be an added advantage)


Added bonus if you have:
  • Nice to have knowledge of other Agile frameworks like KANBAN, XP, Lean.
  • Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand your team needs.
  • Experience in product management.
