Senior Sales Manager (Insurance Industry)

About the team

The Senior Sales Manager will be required to build and mature a new pipeline of business for the Prophet and Prophet Cloud product set with Insurance companies. The role will carry an annual sales quota and the following activities will support the attainment of set goals

What you will be doing
  • Development of pipeline leveraging existing networks and cold calling (100 calls per month expected)
  • Run sales meetings with clients (20 meetings in a rolling 90-day period expected)
  • Understanding the product set and FIS value proposition and communicating same to prospects
  • Updating the FIS CRM tool on a weekly basis with "next steps" per transaction as well as opportunity win plans
  • Coordinating all sales activities related to an opportunity and involving pre-sales, professional services, legal counsel and finance at the right time in the engagement process. Each transaction is different, and the Sales Manager needs to be able to adjust the process and his/ her approach to efficiently conclude transactions
  • Completion of commercial proposals by collating inputs from the abovementioned internal stakeholders and demonstrating the FIS value proposition
  • Commercial contract negotiation (pricing and salient points)
  • 20 - 25% out of town travel anticipated
  • Quarterly pressures mean overtime will be required from time to time
  • Presentations

  • Strong experience in selling to Insurance Industry
  • Self-starter
  • Exceptional proposal and executive summary writing skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cases with multiple stakeholders (internally and externally)
