As a 2021 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success; including quarterly performance connects with your manager and bi-annual merit reviews.

This two-year full-time program has a start date of June 28, 2021 with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will;

About The Team

Work with a global team to develop our next generation backend technology used to deliver our products and services to our clients. Located across the United States, Canada, and India, our team works together to provide several mobile products that serve internal and external FIS clients.

What You Will Be Doing

You will develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Furthermore, you will be Interacting with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application.
  • Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs. (Code must be used in the core version of applications available for sale commercially)
  • Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
  • Write code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies
  • You may be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedules and documenting work and results
  • You may deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences


What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree from job discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team


Added Bonus If You Have
  • Basic understanding of markup languages (HTML, XML, JSON, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of Angular JS, REST, and/or database.
