As a 2021 FIS University Program full-time employee with FIS, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, and professional development seminars. Furthermore, you will work with a team invested in your growth, development, and success, including quarterly performances with your manager and bi-annual merit reviews.

This two-year full-time program has a start date in June 2021 with a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will:

About The Team

ACBS (Advanced Commercial Banking System) is a comprehensive

commercial lending and trading system that consists of an integrated functional

modules that support the lending process from deal building through servicing

and trading. The ACBS product suite's key is connection- between the front

office and back office, arrangers and investors, and buyers and sellers. Our

connected suite of products makes loans easier to originate, syndicate, trade,

and service for both sell-side and buy-side firms - and we are continually

adding new connections between products and market participants.

What You Will Be Doing

You will develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. You will identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. You will interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems applications.
  • Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. (must use code in the core version of applications available for sale commercially.)
  • Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
  • Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Writes code completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
  • Able to complete documentation and procedures for the installation and maintenance.
  • Trains and communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams on systems application.
  • May be responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedules and documenting work and results.
  • May deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.


What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
