About the team

FIS PaymentsOne is more than just multiple online servicing tools brought together in a consolidated user interface for financial institutions. We represent the external face of FIS' broader payments modernization efforts - the coming together of Global Retail Payments' strategic plans and assets into one, end-to-end strategy for payments-based clients. Whether a client uses a single payment capability or multiple, our Payments One user interface provides a best-of-breed experience that aligns our key U.S. payments offerings in one, enhanced location.

What you will be doing

You will be a working as Automation Engineer in a high-octane program construct and execution in SAFe Agile Environment. You should have a solid understanding of Test Automation Tools and Processes. You should be equally effective working in self-managed projects and as a team player, able to work well under pressure. You should be detail-oriented problem-solver with good verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to quickly understand complex business rules. You should be able to prepare and present to management a detailed report for how existing Automation Frameworks can be enhanced to significantly improve a productivity of the process to increase a quality of tested business solutions in terms of Business Availability.
  • Develops, maintains, and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans.
  • Performs usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability and security.
  • Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
  • Controls and manages own daily test activities.
  • Provides internal quality assurance.
  • Supports test lead to identify risks and develops mitigation strategies.


What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • 4+ Years of testing experience
  • Knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets needs of client/business partner
  • Knowledge of object-oriented development tools, techniques and principles with expertise in at least one object-oriented language
  • Skill in understanding and focusing on the client needs Skill in analysis, solid decision-making and problem solving
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure


Added bonus if you have:
  • Knowledge in web testing, API testing, API Automation.
