Job Description

As the Senior Product Manager, HIV, Switzerland you will be responsible for all operational marketing aspects in our HIV business unit with focus on life cycle management of our portfolio and later launches to come, to ensure future growth of this asset. This position is based in Zug, Switzerland and will report to the Director, Sales & Marketing.

Specific Job Requirements:

  • Leads Promotion Review Committee process to ensure marketing materials are cleared for promotional use and secures final production.
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Leverages market research and analytics critical to directing brand strategies and optimizing marketing tactics.
  • Analyzes complex problems and situations, provides logical recommendations and leads any required action planning.
  • Directs tactical plan development and implementation.
  • Takes a lead role in representing company at professional events and promotes company products at such events.
  • Ensures that all marketing activities follow regulatory and legal requirements.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Must have the ability to conduct analysis and use complex analytical tools.
  • Must have demonstrated excellence in project management and effectively manages multiple projects/priorities.
  • Must possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills and ability to efficiently and productively communicate to a variety of groups and audiences.
  • Must have demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materials.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop and execute development strategy.
  • Ability to conceive, develop and implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plans.
  • Strong presence with ability to command respect through exercise of sound business judgment and clear decision-making is required.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams or work groups.
  • Ability to successfully work with external agencies, including advertising, public relations and medical education vendors to develop programs and materials is required.
  • Ability to manage budgets is required.

Specific education and experience requirements:

  • Product/Brand Management experience, previous portfolio life cycle management desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields.
  • Familiarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales and commercial policies and practices.
  • Previous experience in marketing research and/or pharmaceutical sales desired.
  • Therapeutic Area knowledge would be an asset.
  • Experience with Advocacy, Community and National Health systems and services are preferred.
