Costs and Synergy Reporting Manager 12-18 Month FTC

We are searching for a Costs and Synergy Reporting Manager who can make a positive difference to the Finance team and GSK as a whole and who can inspire others to the same. Come and join the team! WHAT IS YOUR JOB PURPOSE?
You will be responsible for the reporting of re-structuring costs and synergies resulting from the changes required to integrate Pfizer into GSK following the announcement at the end of 2018. The role will also be responsible for ensuring all market re-structuring activities follow the required Governance approval steps and meet the technical accounting criteria for OE (operational excellence)/re-structuring provisions and costs

• Financial Reporting and review of Global re-structuring costs and synergies in accordance with GSK's systems and processes
• Preparation of Board material packs for OE costs and synergies
• Review and challenge (where required) of synergy STP's
• Co-ordination of STP corporate approval processes and related governance
• Co-ordinate and support planning cycles for OE activities
• Training session guidance where required on processes and technical guidance around OE costs and provisions
• Support improvements to OE reporting processes
• Work across market and corporate teams to ensure alignment on OE activities

Why You?Basic qualifications:
• Experience in Technical accounting for re-structuring costs
• Experience of working in a multinational matrixed organization across multiple markets and functions
• Qualified/Part Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) - Internationally recognized
• Project management skills to drive multiple initiative across multiple regions and services simultaneously
• Strong communication and influencing skills with Senior Stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience of Integrating Joint Ventures/Mergers/Acquisitions
