Head of ViiV Tech

You will Lead the ViiV Tech function to ensure that ViiV Healthcare has the Tech strategy, systems and processes in place to drive its growth and support ViiV's globalization of processes, at best in class cost and in line with ViiV's ambitious growth target and product launch schedule.

This role is the single point of accountability in ViiV Healthcare for the success of global, regional and local Tech projects and services. The role is required to manage the full lifecycle for solutions and services ensuring continuity of services while evolving functionality in line with business need. The role is accountable to the CEO, ViiV Healthcare for Tech's success and to the VP, EU & ViiV Pharma Tech.

The role establishes the right level of oversight to ensure: priorities and roadmaps for critical technology investments are signed off in agreement with the business; solutions and services meet a high standard of governance and compliance with minimal risk exposure; and, problems are escalated and resolved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
• Business Relationship Management: Partner with the ViiV Healthcare Customer Board and CDO to develop and deliver integrated Digital and Tech strategy, solutions and services that drive the key business growth and simplification strategies.

• People Management - Accountable for a team of 5 direct reports based in UK, USA and Poland. Ensure ongoing succession planning is in place to maintain Business Process knowledge and expertise.

• Solution and Service Strategy: Develop, agree and maintain a Tech strategy to deliver an optimized application landscape for the markets within the region. This should represent the optimal set of applications and services which meets the business strategy and requirements.

• Delivery: Ensure the effective delivery of initiatives, with appropriate processes and controls, to deliver against timelines, quality and cost. Engage and manage contract resources as required to deliver projects.

• Portfolio Management: Ensure that the Region's portfolio of local, regional, and global projects can all be delivered to committed cost, quality and schedule, with strong consideration of business-critical product launch phases.

• Governance: Establish and lead Business Governance bodies to drive a joint Digital and Tech strategy, prioritization and approval for new business demand, provide oversight and enable benefits realization, manage overall service performance and manage business Tech risk.

• Quality, Risk & Compliance: Accountable for ensuring all applications supporting the business are compliant with internal GSK security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements e.g. GxP, SARBOX and that IT continuity plans are in place for all business-critical applications.

• Service Management: Accountable for ensuring the right services levels are in place and maintained in line with business need and ensuring constant drive for improvement of Q24 results.

Why You?Basic qualifications:
• Degree Information Technology or any related technical area or equivalent experience
• Significant experience in Commercial Tech environment supporting Pharmaceutical sales & marketing teams
• Experience of leading LOC/LOB and Regional Technology teams in a Tech environment with accountability to LOC/LOB GM
• Track record in successful IT strategy development, solution design, programme and project delivery and service management in a pharmaceutical sales and marketing environment.
• Track record in delivering business impact through process and IT enabled solutions,
• Experience of vendor management in particular Tech/Business Process Outsourcing or solution delivery from third parties
• Excellent relationship management, strong influencing and communication skills at senior level
• Deep content knowledge of relevant process areas (processes & applications) Veeva CRM, Adobe Marketing Cloud,
