HR Associate


We are looking for an HR Associate (HRA) to join our team in Brentford HQ! This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a team of HR Business Leaders (HRBLs) across GSK's Global Support Functions (Tech and Legal). If you are proactive, can work at pace, have a data-mindset and great attention to detail, we would be really interested to hear from you.

Your responsibilities:

Conducting data analysis and driving metrics for key HR activities:

You will:
• Work with the other HRAs to deliver standardised reporting and analytics across GSF (e.g. talent management metrics)
• Analyse HR data and turn them into insights to drive quality discussion at leadership team meetings
• Advocate the use of Workday and support development of Workday capabilities
• Share best practices and successes with HRAs and HRBLs to help drive continuous improvement and standardisation

Planning and co-ordination of key HR activities and events:

You will:
• Co-ordinate pre-work, including data gathering, for key HR activities and events
• Co-ordinate the talent programme nominations process and track attendance/representation
• Support the implementation of the GSK engagement survey
• Support other HRBLs on occasional basis to help manage particular activity peaks
• Work with a variety of stakeholders in both HR and the business

Effective management of team meetings:

You will:
• Set up for meetings to ensure readiness to start on time (i.e. room, technology, team site, agendas, materials)
• Manage action logs, ensuring accurate and relevant actions are captured and tracked
• Contribute equally to providing feedback in the meetings on what is working, not working, ideas for improvement
• Help hold team accountable for applying learnings
• Ensure team sites are set up to facilitate access to information and efficient team working

Why You?Basic qualifications:

• High level of proficiency in Excel including ability to turn excel into pivot tables and Power Point presentations
• Experience in Workday or equivalent HR systems reporting
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, empathetic coupled with confidence to be assertive and constructive
• Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Motivated and capable to identify and implement continuously improvement opportunities
• Experienced in the planning and coordination of key activities and events
• You will be a self-starter with a proactive attitude

Preferred qualifications:
• In depth knowledge of HR function, processes and systems
• Knowledge and understanding of GSK organisation and ways of working across different countries and/or businesses, multi-cultural sensitivity
• Project management experience
• CIPD qualified
