•Jointly responsible and accountable for defining and seeking relevant/respective RIB and PIB approval for milestone transition criteria necessary to unlock subsequent development funding (e.g. transition criteria for RIB to PIB).

•Responsible and accountable for leading integrated commercial strategy (ICS) team with colleagues from pricing and market access; competitive intelligence; and analytics.

•Responsible and jointly accountable (with the EDTL) for leading the investment thesis and business case generation, review and approval process via the early Forecast Review Committee (eFRC).

•Key contributor for achieving a successful development partnership (e.g. co-development or arms-length) with third-parties when molecules are not accepted into PIB portfolio (e.g. molecule demonstrates efficacy and safety but does not achieve transition criteria for PIB).

•Responsible and jointly accountable (with the BD&L Lead) for leading the investment thesis and business case generation, review and approval process via the early Forecast Review Committee (eFRC) for in/out-licensing projects.

•Responsible and accountable for challenging the EDT/BD&L team to ensure that ambiguity and risk-gating are jointly exploited to create value in the investment thesis for RIB molecules
