Data Analyst Intern - Part time for a student

Interning as a Data Analyst you will:
- Work closely with product managers and technical teams to identify opportunities for improving our product offerings and ensure the smooth performance of existing applications
- Design, Develop, and Maintain business intelligence solutions to represent key scientific data using Microsoft Power BI, Sportfire or any other visualization tool.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for data visualization and reporting.
- Create data models and define relationships between data sources for efficient data retrieval and analysis.
- Implement data transformations, calculations, and aggregations using Power Query and DAX.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI
- Cleanse and transform data to ensure its accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Develop data pipelines and workflows to automate data integration and preparation processes.
- Apply best practices for data visualization to ensure effective communication of insights.
- Document data models, data sources, and transformation processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Help in the development and enhancement of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines aimed at improving development cycles and release reliability.
- Occasionally, you may have the opportunity to travel internationally to support product demands and collaborate with global teams
What should you know / have:
- Proficiency in data modeling, data integration, and data visualization concepts
- Understanding of SQL and experience in working with relational databases
- Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Data Visualization Tools (PowerBI, Sportfire)
