TITLE:

Intern, Biomarkers & Data Analytics

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team and contribute to our efforts on AI-guided microdissection. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, collaborate with a team of experienced scientists and engineers and utilize cloud-based platforms for computation and collaborate with a team of experienced scientists and engineers.

You can expect the following as an intern:

• Conduct a comprehensive literature review on AI-guided microdissection techniques and the applications on various disease areas.
• Support the team in developing workflow for AI-guided microdissection, including assisting with lab-related work (e.g. histology, protocol optimization, whole slide imaging, laser microdissection).
• Perform image analysis and/or develop AI/ML algorithm for detection of relevant features
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as biologists, pathologists, and AI/ML experts on projects.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and findings.
• Present findings and insights to the team and stakeholder

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Enrollment in an Undergraduate/Master’s program leading to a Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Science, or Bioengineering; other programmes can be considered on individual merit
• Took relevant courses and had hands-on experience on wet lab projects as well as dry lab projects related to Image Analysis, Machine Learning/Deep Learning.

• Proficient with programming/scripting using MATLAB, Bash, Python etc and common libraries.
