Marketing Intern (Oncology & Rare Disease Business Unit)
Job Description
Oncology & Rare Disease Business Unit Marketing intern is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the marketing team. He/she will be part of the dynamic team working towards ensuring our innovative treatments gets to the patients who needs it. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with science background or have deep interest and able to pick up disease / treatment knowledge. This internship offers excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry and develop valuable skills in marketing, market research and project management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Assisting in market research:
- Conducting research on industry trends, competitors, target audience, and customer preferences to help the marketing team make informed decisions. Collaborating on marketing campaigns: Assisting in developing and implementing marketing campaigns, including brainstorming ideas, creating content, coordinating with vendors or agencies, and tracking campaign performance. Medical conference support: Assisting in the planning and execution of marketing activities at oncology conferences or events. This may include preparing promotional materials, organizing booth logistics, and interacting with healthcare professionals and attendees.
- Reporting and analysis: Assisting in gathering, organizing, and analyzing marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Assisting with administrative tasks: Supporting the marketing team with tasks such as scheduling meetings, coordinating events, managing marketing materials, and maintaining databases.
Qualifications for a marketing intern may include:
Currently pursuing a degree in pharmaceutical sciences or related field
Strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry and marketing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
