Commercial Indirect Procurement -Regional - Internship
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid)
Duration: at least 5 months, full-time
Starting date: flexible but period preferably latest September 2024
Job Description
As part of the regional Indirect Procurement team, you will be supporting Organon's Commercial Organization (with departments like Marketing, Sales, Medical and Market access) and report into the Procurement Lead for Central Northern Europe (CNE). You will be responsible for supporting the new regional procurement organization structure at Organon. Responsibilities will include review of new ways of working, reviewing optimization opportunities, supplier evaluation and creation of reporting. Working within procurement you will work with internal and external stakeholders like suppliers and many different departments across the commercial organization.
In your role you will be responsible for:
Primary Responsibilities
- Creation of reporting, supplier evaluation and business guidance documentation in support of our newly established CNE region.
- Review new ways of working and simplification opportunities linked to our new Coupa P2P system and associated procurement tools.
- Potential Marketing supplier review to evaluate new suppliers.
- Collaborating with indirect procurement colleagues across the EUCAN region
- Supporting the commercial CNE organization in the system transition and where possible duplicate best practices to the other EUCAN markets.
Required Experience and Skills
- Third-year or fourth-year student in Business Administration, International Business or Supply Chain Management
- Your skills in English language are excellent and Dutch or German is beneficial.
- You've experience using Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Power BI would be very useful as well.
- You would like to be part of a regional team and you can work cross-functionally with colleagues across the world
- Independent and self-organized as although we've great office locations we might not work from the (same) office every day.
- Open for regular travel to our Amsterdam office
- Business understanding from earlier internships would be advantageous
