Working with supervision, the Associate Project Manager- Portfolio
Management role manages or coordinates one or more projects from initiation through delivery.
Analyzes cross-project interdependencies in order to avoid potential impacts and identifies optimizations in regards to data analytics, scope, schedule, budget, and/or resource utilization.
Reviews data on projects to identify trends,make good business decisions and ensure solutions are implemented.
Produces and reviews project plans; assesses Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), resource loading, dependencies, and milestones.
Provides detailed information to management to ensurerisks/issues are surfaced and mitigated, provides tracking to budget and timeline.
Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor'sdegree in business administration,
information technology, engineering or an equivalent combination of education, training and
professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and
0-3 years of related project management experience in data analytics, systems development, application development and implementation or the equivalent experience
Knowledgeof the key principles of cross functional project management (ex: Time, Quality,
Cost)Strong financial acumen Examples of project management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels
Critical thinker with good judgment and strong initiative
Experience in demonstrating leadership/influence and collaboration across multiple anddiverse groups
Experience with managing projects through a project life cycle
Ability to work independently, be creative and innovative problem solver
Ability to delegate, effectively prioritize ownand project team members workload
Strong Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Outlook,Excel, Word,etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills
PMP Certification (preferred)Knowledgeof Six Sigma, COBIT, ITIL, or other QMS frameworks (preferred)
