Associate Programmer Analyst - (Mainframe programming, sql programming,C programming, Java programming,Cobol programming)

This is an entry-level computer programming position working with clinical trials data. Provides programming support for some or all of the following activities: creation and maintenance of programs used for data entry, data management, data validation, statistical report generation, and program validation. Communicates effectively within a multi-disciplinary project team to complete assigned tasks on time and within budget

BA/BS degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or related field Or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

  • Minimum 2 years programming experience

  • Must be proficient in at least 1 programming language (examples: SAS, Cobol, Java, C/C /C#, VB…)
  • Must have SQL knowledge and experience on any database platform (example Oracle, DB2, Teradata, Access)
  • Familiar with SDLC and have been part of a development team
