PPD is currently recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst to help with development and support of IT applications.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification 
•    Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2 years’ experience working in a software development environment, of which at least 2 years must be directly involved in requirement gathering) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

Responsibilities:
 
•    Good understanding of system development life cycle and requirements methodology.
•    Gather and write requirements and design specifications.
•    Good understanding of requirement gathering methodologies, for example waterfall, Agile, Spiral, JAD sessions, as well as best practices.
•    Good understanding of different requirement types such as Business, User, Functional, and non-Functional.
•    Ability to write use cases.
•    Ability to write specifications for moderately complex systems.
•    Work with business and technical subject matter experts, Validation team members and others to create/analyze various other required project documentation.
•    Good MS Office skills. 
•    Ability to estimate level of effort for small to medium sized projects. 
•    Good business skills including the following: documentation, presentation, interpersonal, and communication. 
•    Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
•    Strong planning and organizational skills.
•    Ability to interact with relational databases at an intermediate level.
•    Write and execute system test scripts for a complicated system.
•    Stay abreast with the latest developments in related technologies; share knowledge with team members.
•    Training on new technologies and tools that are related to job duties.
