Clinical Team Manager (Senior) - CAR T/Cell Therapy/Phase I or Early Development/Immuno-Oncology

PPD is currently looking for Clinical Team Manager (CTM)/Sr. Clinical Team Manager (CTM) staff to join our team with CAR T/Cell Therapy/Phase I or Early Development/Immuno-Oncology experience.

As a CTM, you will coordinates all aspects of clinicalactivities on an international basis. This includes the day to day managementand leadership of a team of Clinical Management members who are allocated to aproject on a Country basis. You will work in partnership with the ProjectManager to ensure the necessary training, tracking and quality systems are inplace for the clinical team, and be primarily responsible for the clinicaldeliverables of the project within agreed timelines and budget. You are laser-focused on study management and earning our clients' trust. You take ownership, anticipate problems, find solutions and deliver results.

Grow within the CTM career path as a Senior or Principal CTM or develop into leadership roles within the Clinical Management department. Alternatively, expand your career into clinical project management or departments within Global Clinical Development.

Job Qualification:


Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years).
  • Previous cross-country Study Management/ Project Management experience in excess of 1 to 2 year, including specific knowledge for some of the below therapeutic areas:
  • Hematology and Oncology : Early Phase, immuno-oncology, pediatric HemOnc, rare disease, cohort/dose escalation experience
  • Vaccines and/or Infectious Disease experience would also be considered as an advantage
  • Clinical research experience in all phases of study life cycle, including start up, interim and close out
  • Study finance management experience
  • Ability and willingness to cross-region and in region travel according to the project needs (about 15-20% annually)
  • Monitoring experience
  • Valid Driver's License and Valid Passport

  • Solid interpersonal and problem-solving skills to enable working in a multicultural matrix organization
  • Capable of working effectively in a changing environment with complex/ambiguous situations
  • Familiarity with the practices, processes, and requirements of clinical monitoring
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including English language proficiency
  • Capable of evaluating workload against project budget and adjusting resources accordingly
  • Sound financial acumen and knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and fiscal management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good computer skills to effectively use automated systems and computerized applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
