We have a new role within our EMEA HR team as HR Manager.
PPD’s Human Resources team provides a business partnering service to internal client groups
across a number of European locations, helping them to grow and develop our business. This
position is based in Brussels, Belgium and will support our growing team made up of
clinical and laboratory professionals. This is a permanent and full-time
opportunity..
Responsibilities
This role assumes responsibility for providing HR Business Partner
services to our Belgian based employees, working closely with our committed team of
managers and directors to ensure that a skilled and effective HR service is provided. Providing
support and guidance to managers and employees located in Brussels, Zaventem, regionally across
Belgium and internationally, your duties will include; coaching managers to develop their
leadership capabilities, , analysing and reporting trends and working closely with leaders to
identify proactive HR led strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring effective resolution
of employee relations issues and the implementation of global and local
policies.
Qualifications/Experience
You will be from a professional HR environment with experience of
working as part of a wider HR team. You must be highly motivated with ability to work
independently; handling multiple tasks effectively with excellent attention to detail. You should
be solutions focused but keep this balanced with a company approach. The successful candidate
must demonstrate a solid understanding and up to date working knowledge of employment law for
Belgium. Previous experience of partnering with employee committees would be desirable as
would experience of working remotely to the wider HR team and an understanding of our industry
sector. The successful candidate must be able to communicate with fluent business English
as well as Flemish.
