Senior Contract Administrator- Grant Administration

Come join our PPD Team supporting FSP (Functional Service Partnership) as a Senior Contract Administrator!

The Senior Contract Administrator oversees contract deliverables and contract compliance. Responsible for analysis and financial reporting of government contracts. Provides budget to actual analyses, revenue forecasts, accounts reconciliations, and various startup support. This role is specifically focused on US Grant Budgets / Grant Administration.
  • Administration of subcontracts both internationally and domestically. These contracts may serve a wide variety of purposes from providing clinical sites with funding to supporting investigators involved in scientific leadership activities to funding laboratory activities.
  • FAR compliance tracking on government funded contracts.
  • Experience with specific expertise to administer grants + grant budgeting.
  • Contract deliverables and deliverable tracking. Identifies and resolves issues related to contract modifications, contract values, and contract deliverables.
  • Client financial reporting.
  • Analysis of budget to actual data on monthly/quarterly/annually basis and for revenue calculations and forecasting.
  • WIP, backlog and billing reconciliations as well as government indirect rate reconciliations.

Job Qualification:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience with large multi-site clinical research projects and NIH grants and contracts highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting/financial principles, and regulations/legal requirements
  • Ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients
  • Knowledge of budget to actual analysis and forecasting
  • Knowledge of GAAP and FAR compliance
  • Proven analytical abilities and ability to handle data effectively
  • Confidence to handle sensitive information and make sound recommendations
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project administration skills
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data
