Sr. Analyst/Mgr, Financial Reporting

The Senior Finanical Reporting Analyst isa results oriented and technically competent financial professional with US GAAP and financial reporting experience (SEC accounting experience a plus). The position is in the external financial reporting function and will be involved in preparing external financial reports, as well as researching and analyzing technical accounting and reporting issues.
  • • Monthly close duties including preparing and posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations, etc.
    • Responsible for the accounting of the company's investments
    • Collect, consolidate, analyze and interpret individual business unit data to support the company's consolidated financial statements
    • Prepare reports and analyses in support of monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and ongoing financial activities
    • Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, management's discussion and analysis as well as supporting backup
    • Prepare and review other regulatory filings
    • Assist with audit requests, both internal and external
    • Other special projects as assigned
    • Assist with technical accounting and reporting research, the preparation of technical accounting memos, including analyzing implications of both routine and complex business matters

Job Qualification:

'Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in accounting or finance and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification, CPA designation required

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5-8+ years') including public accounting experience and/or SEC public company reporting experience or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

•Extensive knowledge and experience with the processes and tools for maintaining accounting records and preparing financial statements and reports
•Extensive knowledge and experience of US GAAP requirements
•Strong attention to detail
•Team player with the ability to work with varying levels of experience and knowledge and gain cooperation/consensus to achieve goals
•Extensive knowledge, experience, understanding of SOX and effective control environments
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Strong analytical and quantitative skills
•Strong Microsoft Office skills for analysis and presentation of data
•Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
•Experience with Workiva/Wdesk a plus
•Knowledge and experience in SEC accounting reporting requirements a plus
•Thorough technical research skills a plus

•Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs
