Sr Finance Analyst - FP%26A

The Senior Financial Analyst performs complex financial analysis and creates accurate, transparent and timely reports to support leadership in the decision making process.
  • Prepares reports and analyses in support of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes and ongoing financial activities.
  • Provides decision support to business management through the creation of decision tools, models, presentations, and dashboards.
  • Leads the forecasting and budgeting processes for assigned business units and/or functional areas.
  • Collaborates with finance, operational management and cross-functional teams to identify problems and develop solutions.
  • Utilizes existing financial systems to their fullest extent.
  • Makes recommendations on system and process improvements to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Job Qualification:

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. CPA candidate preferred.

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years') or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated project leadership and consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and respected partner to internal clients. Strong knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices. Ability to apply advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise to analysis. Good business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data. Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity. Demonstrates executive presence and good presentation skills. Ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Ability to balance and deliver against competing demands. Ability to learn and utilize financial systems.

Working Conditions:Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international.Long, varied hours may be requiredPhysical Demands:Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Frequent mobility required. Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs. Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups.
