Sr. Manager, Business Information

Responsible for the overall tracking, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of Workforce Capacity projects ensuring consistency with strategy, commitments and goals set by the company leadership:

  • monitor established Workforce Capacity Key Metrics to proactively identify potential issues
  • maintain accountability cadence on established/agreed upon deliverables
  • lead the planning and implementation of Workforce Capacity initiatives one requisition at a time as well as collectively across the organization
  • assemble and coordinate project staff
    • site leaders
    • territory leaders
    • HR
    • Talent Acquisition
    • Finance
    • IT
    • Facilities
  • plan and schedule project timelines
  • track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • provide direction and support to project team
  • present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • project evaluations and assessment of results
  • constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • weekly project status reports (also to be shared with ELT)
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 10 years).

5 years of management responsibility

Proven leadership skillsIn some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•Advanced analytical skills and capable of applying to practical applications

•In-depth understanding of relational databases and database structures

•Advanced computer skills –knowledge of Spotfire, SharePoint, CTMS systems useful

•Excellent oral/presentation and written communication skills

•Effective interpersonal and problem solving skills•Effective organizational and negotiation skills

•Capable of motivating and integrating team members•Capable of multi-tasking and performing under stress

Management Role:Directs through lower management levels and / or highly skilled specialist employees who exercise significant latitude and independent judgment. Often heads one or more departments or a large centralized staff function. In some instances may be responsible for a functional area (as determined by executive management) and not have subordinate supervisors or employees. May manage employees across multiple regions.

Working Conditions and Environment: •Exposure to high pressure, intense concentration needed•Must pay constant attention to detail-visual, mental•Must be able to multi-task constantly•Frequent interaction with clients / associates required•Long, varied hours required occasionally•Travel and rotating shifts required on rare occasions•Exposure to toxic materials on rare occasions
