See below for an exciting opportunity to join our Labs Finance Team as a Senior Operations Finance Analyst - Lab Operations Finance.

The position:

The Senior Operations Finance Analyst - Lab Ops contributes to the achievement of financial and business objectives through accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting for complex projects. Works cross-functionally with operations, contracts and proposals, and finance to resolve issues related to revenue, costs, contract values and billing.
  • Reconcile revenue with operations prior to the revenue recognition at month end.
  • Handle month-end tasks including prepaid expense entry, reclass entries, allocation entries, etc.
  • Support revenue, operating expense and headcount forecasting for operations .
  • Provides financial guidance to operations management and other departments.
  • New Business Accounting Support: Month-end tasks, Forecast and Finance reporting and Analysis
  • Makes recommendations for process improvements and participates in special projects as assigned.


Job Qualification:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years') or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices
  • Good business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Attention to details with good organizational skills
  • Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data
  • Hands-on experience with accounting ERP system
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity
  • Demonstrated critical thinking/problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task/meet deadlines
  • Understanding Chinese with accounting experience in China are plus
