We are currently looking to attract a Statistical Analyst who has the ability to solve complex problems by dissecting and analysing large healthcare-related datasets and produce actionable insights for internal teams and our Pharma/Biotech/CRO clients.

As part of the Analytics team, you will be responsible for identifying issues and opportunities hidden in the data and making recommendations on pricing, advertising tactics and strategy, profitability, revenue and project timelines.

We're looking for someone who is a strategic thinker and problem solver at heart; specific industry experience is not required. Communication skills and teamwork are key to success in this role as you will interact with broad cross-functional internal teams and external clients to ensure the analytical results deliver to business objectives.


Key roles and responsibilities of the Sr Statistical Analyst are as follows

Key Responsibilities:

This position will primarily assist with AES ScreenerAnalytics in order to:
  • Identify issues, gaps and recommend improvement to our global, proprietary pre-screener to optimize overall funnel performance between respondent and randomization - this applies to overall portfolio level as well as study level
  • Key member of the Screener Council that provides oversight and decision-making across all studies - assist with summarizing performance data and designing testing (like A/B testing)
  • Executive level reporting of key takeaways and highlights of progress

Candidate characteristics:
  • Loves strategic thinking with data with goal of having tangible business impact
  • Self-motivate and independent (needs minimal supervision after training period)
    • Needs to be able to chase and connect with appropriate functional teams in order to get to the bottom of identified problems
    • Naturally drive to a solution or set of recommendations
  • Superior communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to be succinct
    • Comfortable with communication with different functional groups (medics, feasibility, patient strategy, analytics, portfolio directors, ELT)
    • Comfortable creating presentation for ELT with key takeaways and recommendations
  • Ability to work in environment where rules are not well-defined - that is, entrepreneurial attitude is must
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the business
  • Ability to thrive in super fast-paced environment (depending on mentality, this maybe considered stressful)
  • Hard worker with ability to handle multiple priorities

Job Qualification:

  • BS Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics or other quantitative discipline
  • Min 5 years of work experience with proven record
  • Within a 2 hour drive to Horsham, PA Office
  • Business/consultant background with flare for number crunching (math, statistics, engineering, etc.) - goal is to be able to provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Basic programming skills (esp. SQL)
  • Ability to learn the business and passion to solve complex business problems
  • Effectively communicate, verbally and non-verbally, with technical and non-technical peers
  • Strong Excel skills
  • A collaborative approach to building internal & external relationships
