Sr Systems Developer
Working with minimal direction, this position will provide systems analysis,
design, development, testing and support for mid-sized to large information
systems. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare detailed system specifications based on user requirements
- Develop cost and resource estimates for project
- Assist Oracle DBA, with database design
- Develop and code system components according to specifications
- Perform unit and system test when necessary
- Develop and maintain support Documentation as needed
- Provide guidance to junior staff in executing systems development responsibilities
Education and Experience:
- 4-yr degree in Computer Science or related area
- 6 years experience in applications development in a client/server environment
- 6 years experience with Oracle database
- Or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provide the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Oracle Forms
- Oracle Reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication between customer, manager and project team members
- Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail
- Must be able to work within deadlines, ensuring both timely, cost-effective delivery and customer satisfaction
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- TOAD or SQL Developer
- Azure
