Nowa great opportunity exists for an experienced professional to join our team atthe position of:

SystemsAdministrator

Working with minimaldirection of senior staff, this position will provide program implementation,operational and maintenance support for our server environment. The goal ofthis position is to maintain a stable systems environment with minimal downtimeand maximum performance, optimize existing services and systems, innovate.

The position scopeincludes performing all program implementation, monitoring, optimization,operation & support duties that are provided by the Infrastructure Servicesdepartment. These services include major server OS support, Storage,Virtualization, Citrix, Data Center Facilities, Compute hardware platforms,Operations Management, Messaging and Cloud. Currently looking for candidateswith focus on Skype for Business, O365, Microsoft Teams.

PRIMARYACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Installand Configure Linux based systems

• PerformSystem Maintenance

• Manage,coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on Linux basedservers

• Maintainbest practices on managing systems and services across all environments

• Provideinput on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalabilityof the environment

• Collaboratewith other teams and team members to develop automation strategies anddeployment processes

Job Qualification:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related area, or an equivalent combination of education, professional training and experience that provide the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Essentials:

• Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator for 5 years

• In depth knowledge of Linux: RedHat or CentOS

• Familiarity with VMWare and Virtualization concepts

• Familiarity with cloud technologies Azure and AWS

• Strong problem solving and communication skills

• Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTPS, LDAP, SMTP and SFTP

Strong advantages:

• PowerShell or other scripting experience would be considered as a strong advantage.

• Experience in other enterprise infrastructure platforms (Virtualization, Storage, Citrix, Windows/Linux Server OS)
