Role Summary

Technical Sales Specialist is responsible to deliver and drive pre-sales and post-sales activities by providing flawless technical support to customers as well as conveying RS value propositions and deliver customer centricity by providing positive end-to-end customer experience to establish high engagement and high satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • The expected role and responsibility is largely split into two parts, 1) outbound focus activities and 2) inbound focus.
  • For inbound, you are responsible to help customers to complete a seamless shopping in RS website by answering technical questions, providing technical knowledge, suggesting alternative products, and etc.
  • In addition, you are not only to give support, but also to convert inbound enquiries to orders.
  • For outbound, your responsibility is to hunt new opportunities (totally new order, upselling, or cross selling) for the customer segment assigned to you by means such as calling, helping quotations, and so on.
  • Also your responsibility includes nurturing and growing the agreed customer segment through the new product launches, marketing campaigns, other sales promotions, and so on.
  • You are to deliver the agreed KPIs and to review them on regular basis in order to improve and to contribute company target.

  • Liaise with internal teams for possible solutions on technical aspects to achieve your role and responsibility.

  • The channels you will be using to achieve your responsibilities are calls, emails and live chat.

  • Other ad hoc tasks as required from the team and/or other department in order to maintain the high performance of the company.
