Title: Business Analyst, Digital Marketing

Location: Must sit ONSITE in San Francisco, CA - HQ

Job Details:

MuleSoft is looking to expand our digital marketing team with an entrepreneurial team member who is analytical, driven, energetic, and resourceful. This role sits on the Digital Demand Generation team, a group of inspiring, high-performing individuals that are focused on driving demand for our fast-growing business. The candidate will collaborate with cross-departmental teams in executing program launches, onboarding, promotional activities, and support the day-to-day needs of MuleSoft’s multi-channel marketing efforts. The Digital Marketing Analyst will support our global business and play an integral role in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively across the Digital Marketing team to provide analysis that will support their ongoing efforts and key initiatives

  • Assist with the analysis of their ongoing email campaign management, digital advertising and website conversion rate optimization including report creation, landing page creation and optimization, heavy data analysis, and A/B testing

  • Design, develop, and launch new reports and dashboards according to business requirements

  • Draw out key business insights and provide actionable recommendations

  • Support ad-hoc marketing insights requests for stakeholders throughout marketing

  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment, seeks to drive efficiency through process improvement and focus on core deliverables

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business, economics, finance or technical discipline

  • 2-3 years of corporate experience in data marketing analysis within Digital Marketing

  • Assertive, intellectually curious and continuously driving towards excellence

  • Experience with SalesForce CRM and Marketing Automation Software

  • Analytics software experience with Google Analytics, Optimizely, Tableau, R, SQL

  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets

  • An understanding of digital marketing KPIs conversions of leads funnels; such as MQL, SQL, and SAL

Goals for your first 3 months:

30 days:

  • Develop a complete understanding of the global organization, meeting with frequent collaborators across Marketing

  • Get certified in our Digital Marketing Playbook

  • Build a foundational understanding of digital marketing programs and technologies:

    • Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, Twitter,

    • Marketo (emails, forms, segmentation, real-time personalization)

    • Vidyard (videos)

    • Drupal

    • Salesforce (campaigns/ frequent reports)

90 days:

  • Develop a complete understanding of our ongoing campaigns

  • Start building optimization plans and test cases across channels

  • Build dashboards to monitor KPIs and optimize performance
