The Marketing Operations team is seeking an exceptional contributor to facilitate policy compliance throughout our global Marketing organization. The successful candidate will serve as first line support for marketing compliance, and provide training and enablement to Marketing teams. This role will also coordinate with Marketing & Privacy legal teams and regional operations teams.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Gain a thorough understanding of Salesforce policies governing marketing communications and personal data (e.g. CAN-SPAM, CASL, ePrivacy Directive, GDPR).

  • Provide enablement and training to effectively communicate Salesforce policy to all levels of the Marketing organization and help teams address compliance challenges.

  • Proactively partner with legal and privacy teams, and facilitate legal guidance, reviews and approvals.

  • Work directly with regional Marketing operations teams to provide support and coordinate on marketing compliance initiatives.

  • Develop training decks and other enablement resources.

  • Learn the technologies, platforms and processes that support marketing and privacy compliance, and drive projects to improve them.

  • Assist in creating and updating Salesforce marketing compliance policies.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • 3-8 years experience in a compliance or policy enablement related role.

  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.

  • General understanding of marketing or privacy compliance challenges created by laws such as CAN-SPAM, CASL or GDPR.

  • Proficient creating slides/decks within Google Slides and/or PowerPoint.

  • Superior written communication skills and an ability to distill comprehensive policies into easy to understand guidance.

  • Self-starter with a track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and manage projects.

  • IAPP CIPP privacy certification is a plus.

  • Attention to detail is a must. Hashtag # your favorite charity on your resume.
