Process Consultant/Analyst JD (Job Description)

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running in the process analyst role to reduce process complexity, increase process efficiency, effectiveness, and enable speed of operational processes.

  • Plan, manage, and execute small to medium size process improvement initiatives

  • Engage with Core Committee or Steer Committee in identifying the list of processes that require improvement or refinement based on process rationalization exercise and arriving at list of priority processes based on Impact, Effort , Complexity

  • Organize and facilitate meetings with key stakeholders (Core committee) in order to share ideas, discuss opportunities and provide support

  • Coordinate with process owners to define requirements to support company process strategy

  • Communicate with Stakeholders to assist in developing effective process vision, process strategy and process maturation.

  • Make process design and development recommendations to standardize, improve, or redesign processes to meet business needs clearly articulating through a “As-is” to “To-Be” Model

  • Assist with the analysis and preparation of recommendations that will drive greater productivity, reduce waste, or eliminate duplication

  • Work with operational team members to understand processes, root causes and outcomes. Create metrics and audit processes to ensure established goals are met and process improvements are sustained

  • Maintain and update documentation of process overviews, details and process flows. Ability to carve out Value Stream Mapping and identify Non Value add activities

  • Make process design and development recommendations to standardize, improve, or redesign processes to meet business needs.

  • Utilize financial measures and analysis of operational impacts to evaluate the cost and benefits of current processes and identification of potential areas for improvement

  • Research and resolve issues identified in the processes and systems based on the problem statement identified.

  • Design and implement new process in order to improve or fix broken processes, to ensure cost-effectiveness, enhance productivity ,TAT or standardization

  • Create process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and self-service guidance for identified opportunities

  • Collect and document of business requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts

  • Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases

Mandatory Skills

  • PMP Certified or Equivalent

  • Six Sigma, Lean experience, Agile Exposure and relevant certifications supporting the experience

  • Process Analysis or a thorough understanding of how processes can be defined, improved or automated

  • Data Analysis and experience with Microsoft Excel, Visio, Process Mapping, Process Diagrams

  • Change Management Exposure

  • Design Thinking Certification or working on projects leveraging Design thinking principles is an added advantage
