Introduction:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Salesforce Product & Pricing Operations team. The Program Manager, Product & Pricing Operations will be responsible for managing a team of individuals who are enabling in new product launches and maintenance of existing product lines. Core operational tasks will include management of multiple product lines and the associated SKUs and Price Books. Successful candidates will be able to manage multiple projects at any given time, address escalations, manage team capacity, and work effectively to address high-level gaps and requirements prior to commitment. The position reports to the Sr. Manager, Product & Pricing Operations within Global Business Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Project Leads across a number of active projects at different stages

  • Achieve positive outcomes by identifying common interests, clarifying differences, and driving consensus or compromise

  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with business stakeholders to enable collaboration and decision making with the goal of execution of company priorities

  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional meetings, document decisions, and follow-up on actions

  • Manage projects including scoping, planning, execution, and tracking tasks/issues/risks

  • Configure new price books and product SKUs in salesforce

  • Ensure operational readiness for supporting new SKUs, including the following areas: quoting, packaging, discounting, provisioning, activation, service delivery, service support, invoicing, and sales readiness

  • Effective in implementing new and improved processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in the high tech space operations space

  • 3-5 years in complex business and technical environments (management consulting and/or product management experience preferred)

  • Experience leading teams and developing people a must

  • Software-as-a-Service experience (SaaS)/Cloud Computing

  • Track record of establishing credibility with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members

  • Solid organizational skills, process orientation, and attention to detail required

  • Prior experience with New Product Introductions processes and Business Operations

  • Able to think on your own and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts

  • Staging and deploying product configuration data for a release (major, patch, and e-release)

  • Responding to incidents in a production environment, such as investigating and remediating possible service delivery failures

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce application functional knowledge / implementation experience is a plus

  • Strong project management methodology (PMP certification preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience and knowledge a plus

  • Improves and reinforces performance in others by providing specific feedback clear improvement suggestions

  • Product & Price Book management experience is a plus

  • Technical and functional knowledge of SFA and CRM
