Excited about enabling the Salesforce ecosystem to integrate data from any system faster using MuleSoft?

If so, we are looking for you to join MuleSoft’s Training and Certification team to drive the development and implementation of our content strategy for Trailhead.

MuleSoft Training and Certification is a critical enabler of customer success by supporting product sales, enabling partners, driving customer adoption, and growing the ecosystem of individuals with MuleSoft skills. Working closely with stakeholders, we develop role-based learning paths to teach and validate MuleSoft knowledge and skills. In this new role, you will lead the development of our learning paths for new and experienced Salesforce practitioners that want to integrate data from other systems using MuleSoft.

What you’ll achieve:

3 months:

  • Complete Salesforce and MuleSoft onboarding programs

  • Become familiar with MuleSoft’s existing training portfolio and the training portfolio roadmap

  • Complete all MuleSoft Trailhead content

  • Attend MuleSoft training courses

12 months:

  • Lead the strategy for MuleSoft training content on Trailhead

  • Create JTAs (job task analyses) for Salesforce admin, developer, and architect personas with MuleSoft technologies

  • Manage the development of new and/or modified MuleSoft training content for Trailhead and plan, manage, and deliver projects on time

  • Manage relationship with MuleSoft’s Trailhead editor, and the editorial and publication process

  • Lead the collaboration with other MuleSoft departments to put together an overall MuleSoft content roadmap for Trailhead

  • Develop hands-on challenges for MuleSoft Trailhead content

  • Drive MuleSoft initiatives for a seamless learner experience between TrailHead and the MuleSoft training infrastructure and content

  • Regularly review, analyze, and report on all Trailhead content feedback and metrics regularly

  • Ensure all MuleSoft Trailhead content is kept up to date or is retired

  • Continually strive to create more effective learning content more efficiently with increased learner satisfaction, and certifications when applicable

  • Collaborate with other managers to procure subject matter experts as needed for projects

  • Document processes related to the Trailhead content development lifecycle




What you’ll need to be successful:

Technical skills:

  • College technical degree (CS or Engineering preferred)

  • Experience with both Salesforce and Mulesoft products

  • Experience managing, developing, and/or architecting software integration projects

Salesforce and Trailhead experience

  • Trailhead Ranger status with completion of multiple superbadges and certifications

  • Deep familiarity with the profiles and job tasks for Salesforce developer, admin, and architect personas

  • Proven track record as a strategic technologist and a solution architect using Salesforce products and technologies

  • Experience with multiple components of the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform - like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.

  • Ideally: Experience working with the Trailhead team to create trails, badges, and superbadges

MuleSoft experience:

  • MuleSoft certified with completion of one or more developer and/or architect certifications

  • Familiarity with the profiles and job tasks for MuleSoft developer, architect, and operations personas

  • Ideally: Experience managing, developing, and/or architecting MuleSoft integration projects

Management experience:

  • 2+ years managing a globally distributed development team

  • Proven track record building a highly functional team

  • Ability and desire to develop individuals and their skill sets

  • Excellent project management skills with ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects on time

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong team player with ability to successfully collaborate with geographically distributed teams

  • Independent self-starter with proven time management and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment

Training / education experience:

  • 2+ years managing development of educational content for a highly technical audience including developers and/or architects

  • 2+ years developing instructor-led training materials yourself in a technical software company

  • Ideally: Familiarity with course development methodologies
