Credit Partner - East Midlands & Anglia

We have an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Credit Partner to join our team covering the East Midlands & Anglia area.

Whilst the position is to provide coverage for clients in the East Midlands and Anglia, candidates will be considered who prefer to work from London or other regional offices with the pre-requisite that they are willing and able to regularly travel across the East Midlands and Anglia patch.

As a Corporate Credit Partner you will collaborate with Relationship Directors, Managers and Regional Directors in the review of both new to Bank lending opportunities and assessment of opportunities in the CP's allocated portfolio of existing large corporate clients.

As a Credit Partner - Large Corporate and Complex your main responsibilities will be

* Building rapport whilst demonstrating intelligent and insightful questioning in interactions with clients, typically being senior level executives (Chairman/CEO/CFO) of major corporates.
* Providing constructive support to Relationship Team and leading the structuring of typically highly complex and unusual transactions.
* Undertaking financial and non-financial due diligence incorporating assisting Relationship Team with the development of financial models and preparation of credit reports under demanding timeframes often led by requirements related to regulatory/stock exchange listing status and/or M&A processes.
* Presenting to senior committees with a high degree of professionalism and depth of knowledge.
* Pro-active risk management of portfolio of large corporate clients across a broad spectrum of sectors.
* Exercise of personal delegated authority.

Minimum skills and experience required

* Strong understanding of corporate credit risk.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Stakeholder engagement and diplomacy.
* Ability to communicate, both orally and written form, in an effective and articulate manner.
* End to end credit lifecycle experience.

This role is based in our office in Nottingham, however the location is flexible.
