Financial Crime Portfolio Manager - Projects & Testing

We have a great opportunity for a Financial Crime Portfolio Manager - Projects & Testing to join our team in Milton Keynes or Bootle on a 12-Month fixed term contract.

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for the testing and implementation of change within the Financial Crime environment and ensuring we have adequate controls. This is for projects initiated by Financial Crime to reduce losses and ensure regulatory compliance and projects initiated by other parts of the Business that may impact Financial Crime processes and systems

As a Financial Crime Portfolio Manager - Projects & Testing your main responsibilities will be

* End-to-End testing of business and financial crime related projects across a variety of systems.
* Identifying and escalating issues within standardised testing framework.
* Regularly reviewing and challenging procedures or risk management practice and initiating action to resolve issues.
* Assessing and managing individual risks and the impact these will have across varying business areas, including your own.
* Proactively building and maintaining effective partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
* Managing, planning and implementing projects / changes to financial crime areas and the wider business.
* Working with peers to anticipates problems and plan contingencies.
* Identifying and preparing for impact of external changes on own business area.

Minimum skills and experience required

* Proven experience in a risk, fraud or financial crime environment within the financial services.
* Proven knowledge of IT infrastructure and implications of changes made by other areas of the business.
* Change management techniques and principles.
* Proven experience in a testing environment and is proficient in the use of test tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and the ability to interact effectively with people of all styles and levels.
* Demonstrates capability and flexibility to undertake a wide range of work in terms of scale, scope and technical content.
