Project Manager - Santander Universities

Santander Universities has partnerships with 86 universities, and in 2019 we provided over £9.7m of funding to support university staff and students across our network. The team work together to provide impactful, diverse and inclusive support to universities, through a focus on education, entrepreneurship and employability. It's an exciting time to join us and continue supporting the fantastic work we do.

You'll be an integral part of the team and will be leading on our flagship entrepreneurship initiative - the Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards.

The projects won't stop there. You'll support other initiatives such as our STEMships Programme, for female engineering students, and our Champions League themed performance and leadership activities. You'll also recognise those that have used education to do something amazing in our annual Impact Awards.

This role is pretty unique. But then, so are you.

What you'll be doing

* Leading on our Entrepreneurship strategy
* Managing the Entrepreneurship Awards Programme from inception to completion
* Supporting with creation, planning and delivery of other key strategic initiatives such as the STEMships Programme and Impact Awards
* Working with internal and external stakeholders on all project aspects such as developing programme content, marketing materials, terms and conditions/legal requirements, and more.
* Proactively building your networks, to develop new relationships and identify areas where value can be added to our programmes

What we're looking for

* Project Management skills with a proven track record of delivering to tight deadlines and budgets
* An understanding of the University landscape, including the challenges, key dates, associated issues, and demographics
* Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills
* The ability to collaborate and liaise with other internal teams
* A fantastic communicator, with the ability to form solid long-term relationships

What else you need to know

This role is based in our Triton Square office in London, conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station and Warren Street Station. It's one of our biggest offices in the UK. With an onsite gym, restaurant, coffee shop and banking facilities, the atmosphere is a vibrant one.
