Website Manager 6-12 Month FTC - Leicester

Our Carlton Park office in Leicester is seeking a Website Manager to join the team on a 6-12-month FTC basis.

This role is central to helping our 6 million visitors a week have a first-class website experience, through the planning and execution of effective website changes, to meet CI&N Operational business goals.

As a Website Manager your main responsibilities will be

* Collaborating with other business areas to create customer focused wow experiences online. Continually developing new ways of working to improve the online customer experience and efficiency.
* Providing consultancy and advice on developing complex website changes to maximise customer experience and commercial impact.
* Managing/providing support for a team of content delivery managers, setting objectives to meet business goals and supporting ongoing personal development.
* Approving technical briefs for publish.
* Approving optimisation briefs.
* Work with external agencies to deliver creatives, artwork and customer testing, managing approvals and budgets to deliver the most cost effective and efficient website change and development.
* Taking the lead in shaping risk controls. Central to resolving incidents and implementing mitigating controls and processes.
* Provide cover for Demand & Resource Manager.

Minimum skills and experience required

* Experience in website production processes, governance and controls, technical capabilities and applying a customer lens to all changes.
* Ability to analyse risk to mitigate publishing errors.
* Previous digital experience, including knowledge of CX/UX principles and design thinking.
* Working knowledge of CMS and website analytics.
* Proven track record of creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Understanding and awareness of customer journey mapping, process mapping, wireframing and prototyping techniques.
* Excellent communication skills with ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels.
* Experience of agency management including effective budget management.
